Astro Solar collectors have been engineered and designed using state of the art technology and materials to provide the most efficient and trouble free solar system possible.

Our unique EPDM rubber absorbers collect and transfer solar energy from the sun to the pool water. The "fully wetted surface" design and the turbulent flow pattern of the Astro Solar Collector provides extremely efficient heat transfer.

EPDM has a significant advantage over other solar collector materials. Sunlight, weather and pool water have little adverse effect on EPDM rubber and it is considered to be immune from ozone attack. EPDM rubber is not subject to freeze damage and remains flexible at temperatures at -50º.

The Astro solar Collector is extruded in a six inch wide tubing configuration that can be custom designed and fitted to any shape or roof surface. The collectors are attached to any roof surface with space age adhesives specifically designed to provide a long lasting bond without roof penetration.
