10 Year Warranty

Solar Management Corporation (SMC) warrants the Astro Solar Collectors™  to be free from defects in material and workmanship and to perform under normal use and service for ten (10) years from the date of installation, providing that the solar collector has been installed by an authorized installation company in accordance with SMC installation instructions.  This warranty applies to any new solar collector purchased by the original retail buyer.

REPAIR:  If a defect in material or workmanship becomes evident during normal use and service within ten years, Solar Management Corporation will repair, or at its option, replace the defective component or part, within a reasonable time without charge for parts, labor or transportation.  If the solar collector contains a defect which cannot be repaired after a reasonable number of attempts to do so, a replacement collector will be installed at no charge.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED:

  1. Solar Management Corporation shall not be liable for consequential damages to your home or other equipment, loss of time, inconvenience or loss of use of the solar collector.

  2. Solar Management Corporation shall not be liable for conditions resulting from a defect in a component or part which is not part of the Astro Solar Collector™.

  3. Solar Management Corporation shall not be liable for conditions resulting from any misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, or alteration of the solar collector.

  4. Solar Management Corporation shall not be liable for damage caused by freeze to the plastic header manifold or the EPDM rubber absorber.

  5. Solar Management Corporation shall not be liable for conditions resulting, from significant departures from Solar Management Corporation's installation instructions.

  6. Solar Management Corporation shall not be liable for conditions resulting from fire, lightning, floods, winds, accidents or conditions beyond Solar Management Corporation control.

These warranties are the only warranties given by Solar Management Corporation and it is understood that no other warranties are expressed or implied without otherwise being agreed to in writing.  These warranties provide specific legal rights.  Other legal rights may exist, which vary from state to state.
